Is a course that examines race, ethnicity, and culture from a historical and sociological perspective. Students will explore the nature of inequality and the institutional policies and structures that reinforce inequality. The intersection of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class, age, and ability will also be examined. This course is a globally intensive course that promotes intercultural competency and global awareness.
